Inspired by a device from another popular DAW, T-Delay is a fully-featured tape delay effect which integrates seamlessly into our Elements modular series. It combines an advanced modulation section with a comprehensive delay which includes Saturation, Ping-Pong and Freeze functions. In addition, it can plug into DS-LFO for modular stereo CV manipulation.
T-Delay is available separately, or as part of our Elements bundle.
Please note: In contrast with Elements S-Delay, T-Delay’s built-in modulation section and expanded delay options replace S-Delay’s Envelope Follower and stereo controls. Whichever Element you choose to use will depend on the type of sound you’re after. That said, T-Delay does have a slightly more friendly-looking icon.
New in 1.0.1 :
- Bug fix: the device no longer occasionally crashes.
WARM AUDIO MULCH
At the heart of T-Delay is a fully-featured tape delay engine, complete with a tape speed control; tape saturation; HP and LP filters; sync, ping-pong and freeze options; and a switch that toggles the built-in and external effects within or outside the feedback loop.
Flip the device around, and you’ll find a set of break-out audio sockets, which allow you to place any device you like within T-Delay’s internal signal chain, to create recursive and arpeggiated effects.
ON-BOARD DYNAMIC MODULATION
T-Delay features the same dynamic modulation that made our Multiband series so popular. With T-Delay’s on-board envelope follower, which is freely assignable to all the major controls, you have full access to depth and feel of the modulation.
Combined with our powerful tape delay engine, the potential for audio wizardry is essentially limitless.
OFF-BOARD STEREO CV MODULATION
In line with the modular philosophy of our Elements series, T-Delay features stereo CV inputs on primary controls, which when hooked up to our DS-LFO device (available separately for FREE), provide additional, fully customisable stereo modulation.
This is an exclusive implementation which truly embraces Reason’s modular concept and allows for effects which were impossible... until now.
- Classic mono delays
- Modulated delays
- Saturated delays
- Ping-pong delays
- Warped tape effects
- Delay freeze effects
- Arpeggiated pitch/frequency-shifted delays (via external feedback FX)
- Any combination of the above, and more
Elements is a series of mini devices derived from our Triad Multiband series. Each device has been carefully crafted to isolate and enhance specific “elements” of Triad, and integrate together modularly, through stereo CV modulation and slick, unified design.
Used either as standalone devices or as part of a modular or multiband setup, each Element is an exceptionally creative tool for sound designers and musicians alike.
Whether you're after wild and wicked sounds or a fresh array of bread-and-butter micro effects, Elements are simple yet versatile enough to become a staple in any Reason-head's arsenal.
They are, after all, elementary.
